Stacy Mayer is the artistic director and founder of Manhattan Comedy Collective and the curator of Emerging Artists Theatre’s One Woman Standing Festival. She has performed and trained at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Upright Citizens Brigade (NY) Second City (Chicago) and Improv Olympic (Chicago). She is the host of Blogtv’s featured comedy show, STACY AND FRIENDS.
Director Kimmy Gatewood is an accomplished writer, director, producer and performer. She was named Best of Time Out NY, ECNY Best Musical Act Winner, ECNY Best Director Nominee and Andy Kaufman Award Semi-Finalist. She has performed at The Peoples Improv Theater, Second City NY, UCB Theatre, Westside Comedy Theatre and the Off-Broadway show Chicago City Limits. Her writing credits include ESPN, Fox Atomic, The Oxygen Network, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Jokes, and numerous industrials. She is a partner at Vaguely Qualified Productions, and produced/co-directed the feature documentary film “Nerdcore Rising” (SXSW Film Festival). Her critically acclaimed and award winning comedy group The Apple Sisters is taking the world by storm. They are currently developing a television show with Hugh Jackman’s Company, Seed Productions. Kimmy is also a member of the Story Pirates. She currently lives in Los Angeles with a view of 53 palm trees.
Dramaturge Kevin Allison is member of the legendary sketch comedy troupe and MTV hit The State and the creator and host of the popular live show and audio podcast RISK! where people tell true tales they never thought they’d dare to share. Kevin Allison’s recent film and TV appearances include Reno 911!: Miami, The Ten, Wedding Daze, VH1’s Best Week Ever, Comedy Central’s Viva Variety and Stella, and HBO’s Flight of the Conchords. Kevin has served as the Artistic Director of The Peoples Improv Theater in New York and teaches comedy writing there, at New York University and at The Philly Improv Theater.
